Nova Scotia Spring Rug Hooking School
May 6 to 11, 2012

The Rug Hooking School Committee is pleased to announce the courses and dates for the 2012 Spring Rug School held at the Agriculture College in Truro, Nova Scotia. Ten courses plus On Your Own are being offered. Please read the information before completing the Application Form and consider your alternate choices carefully. Should none of your choices be available, you will be contacted by the Registrar to see if you might consider joining a class not yet filled. You will receive a letter of confirmation plus all other school information in February.

Fees are required in Canadian dollars. Both your deposit and post-dated cheque for the balance are submitted with your
application form. The post-dated cheque is dated no later than March 1st, 2012.

Refund Policy:
1. If you cannot be placed in a class, you will receive a full refund
2. If you withdraw before March 1, your deposit will be refunded less $100
3. If you withdraw after March 1 there will be no refund

ACCOMMODATION: Residences are College Dorms with shared bathrooms and showers. While the dorm buildings are aging, they are clean. If you require a first floor room, please note this on your application.
MEALS: Jenkins Dining Hall serves excellent meals cafeteria style. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase at the Cox Institute where classes are held.
COMMUTERS: If you would like to join us for meals in Jenkins Hall, you may pay in cash at the Dining Hall.
SHOPS will be located in Cox Institute for your shopping convenience.
RUG DISPLAY: We would like you to bring two or three hooked pieces for display at Rug School, but you will need to pre-register them. The Rug Registration form will be part of the confirmation package.
EVENING PROGRAM: We are excited that on Monday night Heather Ritchie will share with us her rug hooking experience in Africa. Wednesday is party night and our theme is Caribbean Holiday-dig out those sarongs, flowered shirts and dazzle us with your brightest colours. There will be music and prizes to be won.
