Join us for a fun and fiber filled weekend at one of the South Shore’s most beautiful resorts. Come to the Oak Island Resort for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and afternoon Harvest Hook-in hosted by the South Shore District.

Note:  To attend the RHGNS Annual General Meeting (AGM) you must be a current 2023-2024 member.

Holiday inspired felted ornaments with Shelagh Ryan. Instructions on the workshop will be included in the registration email.
Friday Evening 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm - Welcome reception
Our Keynote speaker Lucy Neatby is an adventurous knitter, quilter and rug hooker. She is a regular teacher and lecturer traveling around the world on teaching and speaking engagements. And at present calls Tancook Island as her home. We’ll have door prizes and raffle baskets, and much more.
Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm- RHGNS AGM
includes nutrition break and lunch You must be a current 2023-2024 RHGNS member to attend
Saturday - Learn to Hook with Jane Steele, River House Rug Hooking
All supplies for a new hooker will be provided in this day long course. Hoop and hook, for use at the course, and purchase of a pattern and wool – just bring your enthusiasm and desire to learn a new craft. Includes nutrition break and lunch
Saturday 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm Harvest Hook-in
Join us for our afternoon Harvest hook-in – open to all who wish to join us. We’ll have door prizes and coffee/tea and light snack.
Sunday Afternoon - Guided Walk of Lunenburg
Alison Mitchell will host a walking tour of Lunenburg and help you discover many of the spectacular sites that make this town a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Suitable walking shoes required.
