Vintage St. Nick in a Pictorial – Ruth Downing – Auditor

Date(s) - 03/05/2021 - 07/05/2021
9:30 am - 3:00 pm

This course will focus on hooking the face of St. Nick and capturing his expressive features. A 6-value swatch will be used for a whimsical yet detailed face. Wool, yarn and texture for the beard and clothing will be creatively used to add detail, depth and dimension to this beloved figure from the past. Ruth has designed two St. Nick faces which will be available to students in February once they have registered for the course. The patterns are drawn as pictorials which include a village scene, snowy hills and trees. Join Ruth for a fun and creative week! Commercial designs by Tish Murphy would also be suitable choices for this course.

This event is fully booked.

  1. Your server was having troubles with the volume of people… despite me trying numerous times earlier, this was the soonest I could get in. The class is full…. I would be happy either as a student or auditor. Take care

    • I can’t place anyone on a list. You have to select the ticket yourself. The website has calmed down so give it a try for the auditor

  2. I went first to the class , I would prefer to be a student, after one hr of trying , it looks like the course is booked , Do I pick auditor in case?

    • You should take the auditor. You can go on the wait list as well. After registration closes, the wait list will be used to fill vacant student spots

      • I have tried several times to be listed as an auditor. It takes me back and forth between pages.
